Port Townsend Farmers Market opens Saturday

New to market
New to the market this season is Dented Buoy Pizza, which was at the Chimacum Sunday market last year. Owner John Shelley makes pizzas on site with local ingredients in a trailer-mounted oven fashioned from the top half of a dented buoy.
Other new vendors include the Basketry Studio with handmade baskets, Naked Pottery cookware, Thorndyke Bay woodworks and more. Kristin and Otto Smith and Friends will provide the old-time fiddle tunes that have opened every market for the last decade.

The market is in its 19th season. Last year, it was named Washington State Large Market of the Year by the Washington State Farmers Market Association, beating out every big city in the state. Read More on the Leader's website
